Hi Kat – Very clever idea – DIY-made just for your needs for the win! :-) Since the boxes are in a cabinet – they should be safe and last a very long time. :-)

I have narrow cabinets that are pretty high up in my kitchen. No container seemed to fit its specific measurements- so I built a very thin (3/4″ plywood) box to store all my baking stuff (non-flour/non-sugar). It doesn’t feel very sturdy- but (fingers crossed) it’s worked pretty well so far.

Hi Judy – Thanks for telling me about how you added just half a shelf under your cabinets. That is a great idea, I will have to see if I can do the same.

Hi Jean – Adding the wall cabinet close to the counter is a great idea. A very smart way to keep things easily accessible and under wraps at the same time. Thanks for sharing your idea.

Hi Pam – Your rotating organizer sounds perfect for your vanity. When it spins it gives you even easier access to the stuff you use on a daily basis and keeps it all contained. Easier to clean the vanity also since you can pick it up as a whole. :-)

Hi June – I am a Charlie girl since the 8th grade. :-) I just love the smell. I buy it at Walgreens and sometimes Walmart has it. I agree that Walmart has great prices for organizers that are the same quality as The Container Store. I used them for my pantry. Saved me lots. The Container Store is fun to go to, but for inspiration. :-)

hi Joni – Yes I do wear Charlie. I love the smell. It is my signature scent. :-) It is also one of only a few perfumes I can wear as I am highly sensitive to fragrances in all products in general. I buy it at Walgreens. It is in the locked case, usually on the bottom row. I have also found it at Walmart.
